> We have been looking after Kerikeri tamariki since 2016, in a centre built around the old kowhai trees on Kerikeri Road. Our team is small and settled, and most of us have been here since the doors opened.

### Under 2s

- **Under 2 | Pēpi room** — $395. Full week, 8am to 5pm

### 2 to 3 years

- **2 to 3 | Kererū room** — $340. Full week, 8am to 5pm

### 3 to 5 years, 20 Hours ECE applies

- **3 to 5 | Tui room (20 hours used)** — $120. Remaining hours outside the 20 free, full week
- **3 to 5 | Tui room (no 20 hours)** — $310. Full week without 20 Hours ECE applied

## What we treat

- **Who it covers** Children aged 3, 4 and 5 years old
- **Weekly limit** Up to 20 hours a week
- **Daily limit** No more than 6 hours can be claimed in any one day
- **Fees** No fee can be charged for those 20 hours themselves
- **Extra time** Hours beyond the 20, or beyond 6 in a day, are charged at our normal rate

## How it works

- **8am** Arrival and free play
- **8.30am** Morning tea
- **9am** Outdoor play and small group activities
- **10.30am** Mat time and stories
- **11.30am** Lunch
- **12.30pm** Sleep and rest for younger children, quiet activities for older ones
- **2.30pm** Afternoon tea
- **3pm** Outdoor play, art and messy play
- **4.30pm** Tidy up and settling in for pickup
- **5pm** Centre closes

## About

We are a single centre, not part of a chain, and the same three lead teachers have been with us for over five years. Our rolls are kept small on purpose so the ratios sit comfortably under what is required, and children are known by name from the day they start.
